Children’s Bible Fellowship was founded by Win Ruelke in 1942. Its mission today is to make disciples of New York City’s forgotten fields. Camp Joy, Camp Hope, Project Genesis, and Urban Ministry all operate under its umbrella.
Camp Joy's program is designed to provide the campers solid Bible-teaching and skillbuilding. Fun games are also a part of daily camp life to encourage proper relationship skills.
Camp Hope has provided life-changing summer experiences for hundreds of students, and for thousands of New York's disabled children and adults. Camp Hope's ministry is effective as counselors establish and develop relationships with their campers.
Project Genesis is a short-term missions trip that gives groups the opportunity to experience New York City, to participate in urban ministry and to be exposed to aspects of the camping ministry.
The Urban Program is focused around a team of advocates helping connect campers and their families to resources. Theses advocates, our missionary staff, live in the city where the campers live so they are able to be in their lives helping them connect with the local church.
