In his letter to Timothy, Paul instructed the young leader to fully apply  himself to understand and teaching the Word of God. Seeing the need for training and discipleship in these areas, this apprenticeship is designed to train ministry leaders who will obey this scriptural mandate.

 

Utilizing the Capstone Curriculum, as well as teachers from the Urban Ministry Institute and New York Divinity School, participants will develop a Christ-centered vision of scripture, ministry and personal growth through study of:

 

• The Authority, Purpose and Inspiration of the Bible

• The Kingdom of God in Scripture

• The Life and Ministry of Jesus

• The Role of the Church as Body, Temple and Family

• Urban Ministry as Missions
