Camp Joy's primary purpose is to build long lasting relationships with the children of New York City and introduce them into a loving relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Camp Joy is part of Children’s Bible Fellowship of New York, Inc. , which was founded by Uncle Win Ruelke in 1942. Our mission today is

“Making Disciples of New York City’s Forgotten Fields”.

Camp Joy reaches inner-city children and teens who are lost, hurting & broken. Camp Retreats are held throughout the year to cultivate the on-going discipleship process.

		Each summer college students come here from across the country and from places around the world to serve as Camp Joy counselors. Camp Joy welcomes New York City’s children and teens in Christ’s Name, to give them the Gospel wrapped in compassion.

	Since 1942, Camp Joy has provided life changing summer experiences for hundreds of students and thousands of New York City’s inner-city children. We seek and strive to create an environment for each counselor and camper that contributes to their spiritual formation, a place where each person has a chance to experience the love of Christ.
