Camp Joy offers one week camp sessions for children ages 7 – 15. Camp sessions fill up quickly, so reserve your place today by completing the online registratio. Campers will be accepted on a 'first come first served basis'.

Campers will not be registered without the $50 registration fee. All children will be put on a waiting list until this fee is paid. When registration forms & fees are received, we will try to grant your request for the camp session desired, depending on availability.

The cost of camp is $50 per session, which includes registration fees and covers all costs including transportation. We do realize that camp can be costly, and we do not want the expense of camp fees to deter any child from enjoying a week at camp.

  • If your child receives public assistance, we do accept NYC ADC as full payment for camp fees. (The $50 registration fee will be refunded to ADC recipients, pending your status and qualification confirmation.)
  • We understand that large families can have hard time to send all of their children to camp so we have set $150 as the maxium that we will charge an immediate family (not including cousins), for the summer. That means that a family with six children can send all six children ages 7-15 to camp for two sessions each for a total of $150.
  • Those who do not receive public assistance, but are unable to pay the full price for camp, may apply for a campership rate. (NYC ADC recipients need not apply for the campership rate.)

Requirements

  • Camper(s) must be between 7 & 15 years of age.
  • Registration form must be completely filled out, (online or by hand) and sent into the Camp Joy office with the $50 registration fee in order for children to be registered for camp.
  • All additional forms must be fully completed and signed by a parent, guardian or other requested source (doctor, agency, etc).
  • All requirements and requested documents,  including completed medical exam, must be completed and in the Camp Joy office two weeks prior to camp.
  • NOTE: Any child with incomplete paperwork will not be allowed to attend camp.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call the Camp Joy office. (845) 225-2005 ext 212. Cindy or Denise will be glad to help you. If you do not reach them please leave a short message with your phone number, please speak slowly and clearly.
