FAN THE FLAMES~~~\O/~~~PRAISE AND PRAYER

LORD SET US ON FIRE, AND USE US LORD TO SPREAD YOUR FIRE!

Praise the Lord!

The Lord has truly been good and gracious to our family!!! We stand in awe of Him! We have experienced His presence and protection such a vivid way. While I was in Chicago with my dad, my wife and children stayed at my parent's house. Early Monday morning, the next door neighbor's house exploded and burst into flames. Praise the LORD that no one was in the house. The explosion shook my parents house!! You can read more here and here. When Rachel looked out the window to see what had happened, the flames were licking at the windows!! Rachel, Canaan, and Zion ran to one of the church family's homes a few doors down. We praise the LORD for His hand upon Rachel and the kids! The LORD says, "When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior!" (Isa.43:2-3) The Lord has vividly reminded us that our lives our a vapor, here for a moment, then vanishing away! (James 4:15) Time is so short! "A thousand years in Your sight (LORD) are like yesterday when it is past, and like a watch in the night...We finish our years like a sigh...So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom." (Ps.90:4-12) The word of the Lord says, "Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light. See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil." (Eph.5:14-16) The LORD has put a fresh earnestness in my heart, that we need to redeem the time! There is a lost and dying world around us that desperately need the Lord! It is time for the church to arise and shine for the glory of God! It is time to be on mission with Jesus to seek and save that which was lost!

~\o/~Praise the LORD!!! We are so thankful for the family of God at Lakeside Bible Chapel! We praise the Lord for all His help through you in this time of need! Our car was banged up and plastic sections melted by the debre from the explosion. It has $5,000 worth of damage. Lakeside Bible Chapel is taking a love offering to help fix the car. ~\o/~Praise the LORD for New Life!! Last Sunday, nine new believers were baptized from Revolution Church in Hunts Point! We also had a weekend getaway at Camp Joy. I think it was some of the kids first camp fires that they had ever been to! They were mezmarized! We put the marshmallows on the sticks for them and they would just stare in wide-eyed wonder as they would burst into flames and eventually drop off the sticks!! I don't think that many knew that they were supposed to EAT the marshmallows. What a joy and a blessing it is to watch the Lord touching and tranforming lives for His glory.

Two new men came to our Tuesday night Bible study. Please pray for the transforming grace of God to be upon Pablo and Victor. May they get hungry for the Bread of Life.

~\o/~Please continue to pray that the Lord would bring transformation to Hunts Point! We long to see the Lord glorified!!! We long to see broken lives restored! We long to see the bound set free and empty hearts filled with new life as they are adopted into God's family! This can only be done, "Not by might, not by power, but by My Spirit, says the LORD!" (Zech.4:6)

We love you and praise the LORD for you!!! What a BLESSING it is to be alive and in La familia de Dios! ~ (the family of God!) God's love is better than life!
