Camp Counselors College students (or high school graduates with at least one year of work experience) care for the spiritual, physical, social and emotional needs of campers, and participate in general planning and small group leadership.
- Base Salary: $125 /week for first time counselors
- $150 /week for returning counselors
- Camp Joy Counsels 4-5 urban children each session, aged 7-14
- Camp Hope Counsel and provides hands on physical care for two campers for each of the sessions for children and adults with physical or mental handicaps.
Teen Counselor (Serves both Camp Joy and Camp Hope) College age student or older, who will disciple, mentor and supervise teenagers They put time and energy into the lives of the teens as they work alongside them in cabin clean up and/or kitchen duties, as well as participating in general program activities.
- Base Salary: $125 /week for first time counselors.
- $150 /week for returning counselors.
Program Assistant: We are looking for people, 18 and older, who will assist our program directors with program needs, including: life guarding; challenge course facilitation; instructing archery, canoeing, biking, nature activities, etc. and special events. Remainder of the time would be used to assist in other areas of camp such as maintenance, grounds, or dining halls.
- Base Salary $185 /week for first time staff
- $200 /week for returning staff

- Download the forms
- Then carefully fill out and mail the application which you can download, giving all the information requested in a clear and legible form to: Att: Camp Ministries/ CBF/ PO Box 670/ Carmel NY 10512-0670
- Prepare the reference forms. Place your name, position(s) for which you are applying and be sure to sign and date the waiver in the box. Then fill in the names of the people you listed on your application form as references, one on each form. Give or mail the references to each individual, making sure to include a stamped return envelope. We will not be able to process your application until we receive these back and have contacted your references.
- A phone or personal interview will be conducted before a final decision on acceptance is made. After acceptance, all summer staff need to submit a health history and records of a physical exam and immunizations.
